TEENS MMA (Ages 10–15)

Mixed marital arts training here at MMA Wellington builds confidence, discipline, and resilience in a safe, structured setting. Teens learn to respect themselves and others, how to set and achieve their goals, and a sport that’s skills will last them a lifetime all while improving fitness and coordination in a safe controlled space.

Our teens learn to stay calm under pressure, build friendships through team bonding, and develop healthy habits they will carry into school and everyday life.

What is MMA?

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a growing combat sport that connects the most effective sporting techniques from the most popular codes, throughout sporting history: Boxing, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Sambo, Judo, Karate, all have given something to the wider MMA style. Our teens classes will cover all prefrences of the sport, striking, clinching, takedowns and groundwork, giving you a complete, well-rounded skill set in a safe and fun gym.

You don’t need experience to start. Our beginner-friendly MMA classes are designed to be fun, supportive, and challenging. Every session is different, so training stays fresh and engaging while you build fitness, strength, and confidence.

Learn at Wellingtons MMA gym and push your limits with internationally experienced coaches in our 3 weekly teens classes that run during every school term while building your skills to grow into an adult MMA athlete, in our over 20 adult classes throughout the week.
